Su kuriuo maršalu čia jis kalbėjo apie tą trepsėjimą?
"I may not agree with a couple of things in all this, but I do have to say that I prefer a rule that is UNIFORMLY enforced; however wild, crazy, or disgusting some people may find it; than rules that are not enforced and cause deep dissatisfaction from those that DO follow the rules.
And on this last thing I have the perfect example: by the third day of shooting, when competition was getting real rough, there were a number of shooters stomping on the ground. Especially when they arrived into the shooting position. Marshalls were particularly amused and one of them commented to me that those shooters were, clearly, non-hunters; as their actions demonstrated that they did not know how to walk properly in a forest (the WFTF formally acknowledges FT as being a HUNTING SIMULATION GAME, and most FT shooters in Europe ARE hunters).
When I told them that it was a ruse to see how the very sparse, subtle and treacherous wind was blowing, it stopped being funny. BUT they had no training, nor directions, on that aspect. SO they had to just see how some shooters replaced the talcum powder in a bottle (now prohibited) for a few good boot stomps on the ground. "
